Terry Brancheau
TERRY BRANCHEAU was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and raised in Flint, Michigan. At age eleven she won her first art competition which was a Flint area school poster contest sponsored by the Shrine circus The result was a scholarship to attend classes at the Flint Institute of Arts. In 8th grade, her art talent again earned her another Flint Institute of Arts’ scholarship.
Formal training has also included Mott Community College and the Chicago University Institute of Arts.

Pastels are her main focus, although she has exhibited work in pencil, oil and acrylic.

"In 2006, "View From Kath Run" was juried into the National Plein Air Exhibition at Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey.

She will be exhibiting in the 9th Annual Bay Harbor Michigan Art Fair which will be held, Friday, August 1, 12 pm - 8 pm and Saturday, August 1, 10 am - 5 pm.

Her paintings have been exhibited in the Saginaw Art Museum and the Flint Institute of Arts. She also has paintings in private and corporate collections located in Harbor Springs, Boyne City, Flint and Fenton.

She is a member of the Great Lakes Pastel Society and President of the Fenton Artist Guild.

Silver Lake in Fenton, Michigan, is the location of her studio and her home.
